Hello Again!

Thank you for taking the time explore our classroom website. This page is to give you a better understanding of who I am and why it is I decided to be a teacher.

I am originally from Wayland Michigan where I graduated Class of 2005. I am currently going for my Bachelors in Secondary Education with a History Major and an English Minor. When I graduate in the Fall of 2011, I intend on going right back to school to finish with my second major in Geography.

I have been incredibly fortunate to have had the traveling experiences and opportunities I have had. Throughout my childhood, I have traveled across the country, from North Carolina to Nevada and Michigan to Florida. I have also been out to Hawaii. I have been to the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Canada and Australia. A trip to Europe this summer is in the final planning process. Going to College has opened up these opportunities for me and I hope to continue to travel for many years to come.

Teaching has always been an ambition of mine. I hope that in our class, you learn to really love reading, writing and studying about history and other cultures the way I have. I hope with the knowledge that you learn, you will be inspired to explore the world and broaden your horizons.
